The Winston Box, a start-up monthly clothing subscription service catering exclusively to the Big & Tall man, is proud to introduce actor, comedian and activist Daniel Franzese as our new Creative Director and Co-Owner. Daniel is most familiar to audiences as Damian in Tina Fey’s hit comedy “Mean Girls” and his most recent projects have included HBO’s “Looking” and ABC’s “Conviction.”
Daniel’s creativity will be on display in every Winston Box sent to our customers, starting with boxes shipping early July 2017. He will oversee the development of our seasonal collections, approve and edit in-house designs, and hand-select premium fabrics. His influence will be felt in the little details that our customers will come to appreciate, such as hidden affirmation tags inside each garment containing inspirational messages that promote self-confidence and body positivity.
Daniel will spearhead the development of additional products, services and markets, including opportunities to make our most popular garments from each box available at retailers nationwide. He will also have a major impact on other aspects of our operation, such as our marketing, community outreach and our philanthropic endeavors.
The story of Daniel and The Winston Box begins in December 2016, when a late-night Facebook advertisement on his newsfeed led to Daniel reaching out to us to see how he could become involved in our project. Over the next few months many different collaborative opportunities were discussed. However, as our mutual visions and goals became more aligned, the only role that made sense was allowing his passion for our mission to be expressed in the clothes we send to our clients as a part-owner.
We are thrilled to have Daniel and are excited to take The Winston Box in a new and innovative direction.
